ZOOM SPEED
The RM-BARE zoom speed is adjustable from 1-9 on the rotary dial with modern cameras (1995+). In older cameras 0 is for SLOW ZOOM and 9 is for FAST ZOOM. Zoom speed is variable with all cameras. |

AUTO FOCUS
Auto/Manual switching will not function with cameras that use a real switch for auto focus. |

MENU MODE
When using the menu mode with the RM-BARE controller - Don’t switch back and forth between your camera menu controls and the RM-BARE controller. Use the RM-BARE controller only. Don’t use “Return” in the lowest level of your Camera Menu and Don’t use the Menu Key on your camera because All LANC Controllers are unable to detect the external terminating of the menu mode. |

INTERVAL (PHOTO MODE)
Your camera should have the Frame Recording setting available for this feature to operate properly. (Sony/Yes- Canon/No). Pressing the two zoom keys simultaneously activates this mode. In Sony cameras it’s activated in the “Camera Set” menu item and allows you to record exactly 5 frames by pressing the “start/stop” key on the RM-BARE.Interval selection is achieved by using the rotary switch (0 = off). Most Cameras switch to standby after about 4minutes so keep your times below that.Interval Mode and your camera’s Frame Recording mode are both terminated by powering the camera off. |
